Why Me?

Sorry for the late post, I had to munch on this one for a bit.

I wanted to share why I am choosing to speak about taking charge of your health for the sake of your life. I have struggled for many years with food/eating disorders, poor body image, and a general lack of vitality in my life because I simply did not understand why I was the only one feeling the way I was feeling. However, as I grew older and had experiences with many people I saw that they too struggled with emotional distress and a lack of understanding about what they were feeding their bodies. This issue goes so deep that it is not just about the food; its about our emotional state, our inability to find balance, and our lack of knowledge. I am choosing to speak up because I do not want to be the person who says they’re unhappy, but does nothing to change it. I do not want to be the person who eats their feelings because they are unable to express them. I see so many unhappy people, so afraid to speak up for themselves, so tired of being put down, they do not even know how to interact anymore. We are ALL human; we ALL deserve respect, LOVE, and balance in our lives. I realized I cannot be the one who chooses to shut down and take things as they are. I have to be the beacon of light, I have to change. Hopefully, I can inspire you to take charge of your life and also start to change. You must make a stand for your health, your happiness, and your life. Take responsibility for your choices: for only you can make the choice to change. No one is perfect, so stop being so hard on yourself. I promise you can do it! You are capable of more! Take charge of your life! I encourage you to take the support and resources that I have accumulated and put them to use every day. Small changes will lead to big changes and you will live a better life because you are worth more!
